This non-stick composite gets fused to the pan, rather than layered on, as with most other non-stick surfaces. The 8.5 qt stock pot is just the perfect size for making soups, stock, or stew. Also ideal for braising. It provides outstanding heat distribution being made from hand-cast aluminum that is 6 mm thick, and since diamonds conduct heat the coating contributes to the pans' performance.
