Thanks to the sleek design and brushed chrome finish, it's also a handsome addition to the countertop. Appearances aside, though, it's simple to use and performs the many jobs it does well. This machine, the original 7-cup model, can knead up to 2 pounds of dough in less than two minutes. It comes with a stainless-steel chopping/mixing blade, plus a medium slicing disk and a 4-millimeter shredding disk. Also included is a dough blade, plus small and large pushers for holding food in place. The small feed tube into which you push whatever food you want to chop, slice or dice fits into the larger one so that you can easily position smaller foods, such as celery and carrots, for easy shredding. The on/off switch is easy to see and operate. There is a five-year warranty on the motor
